Founded in 1989, WTRSC began as a small group of individuals who shared a passion for the sport of Snowmobiling. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant club with members from all across the United States and Canada.
We even have members from states that hardly ever get snow. You may ask WHY? It is because Aroostook County has trails that can match or exceed all other trails in the United States or Canada.
The Washburn Trail Runners Snowmobile Club is located at the Hub of Aroostook County. The core members are from the area and work hard to make the Washburn Trail Runners Snowmobile Club welcoming to everyone. Being a hub and the central location to cross the Aroostook River, our trail system experiences very high traffic counts that requires our system to be groomed often. With your membership, you will receive an access card that will allow you to stop by 24/7 to warm up and/or use the restroom. We offer ample parking to unload and ride loops in all directions where we welcome members and non-members.
Please consider Joining a Great Club....
Our groomer operators spend countless hours of their personal time (they are volunteers and have regular jobs) to make every effort to provide us with great trails. The Washburn Trail Runners' system 1.) being mostly rail beds, 2.) Washburn being "The Hub" and 3.) having the central Aroostook River crossing is the reason we have some of the most used trails in Aroostook County. When things aren't pristine, please be courteous and kind to our operators on the trail and on social media.
